Danaher`s Water Quality Business is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. The Market Research working student will be part of the Strategic Marketing team and will be reporting to the Market Research Manager. Together with the Market Research Manager he/she will being responsible for critical data analysis of primary and secondary data as well as creating presentations.

She/he will support global projects on various strategic topics (e.g. product development, new market development, campaign development) and qualitative and/or quantitative ad hoc research.

This will be a 20 hours/week part time working student job for an initial period of 6 months in Düsseldorf.


  • Support the Market Research Manager in all steps of the Voice of the Customer (VOC) process from conceptualization to data analysis.
  • Doing data analysis and conduct statistical analysis
  • Create presentation which transform data into insights
  • Help to improve the current knowledge database of the VOC and UX team
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative projects in alignment with market research manager

Job Requirements


  • University student preferably in Business Administration or Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, (Business-) Psychology or Mathematics
  • Excellent analytical skills, statistical knowledge as well as ability to analyze and structure large amounts of data
  • Good understanding user of MS Excel (knowledge of Pivot table, Macros), PowerPoint, SPSS Statistics is a big plus
  • Knowledge in Tableau, Atlas TI, Sawtooth, Qualtrics or similar software would be beneficial
  • Fluency in English and German. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
