  • The Web Manager is responsible for designing, developing, managing and maintaining the primary websites of Molecular Devices including corporate, community, geo sites, landing pages and microsites. Design and build with mobile first consideration.
  • Monitor the performance of the website and optimize, using web analytics data, A/B testing and multi-variate testing.
  • Monitors Organic traffic and continuously optimize for SEO
  • Optimize marketing campaign landing pages and microsites for high engagement and conversion
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders - Product Managers, Application Scientists, Web writer and Marketing Managers, to support content marketing and product, and application launches
  • Build an agile development culture, refining and enforcing web governance standards and processes, and working with other groups on best practices. 
  • Lead regular web governance council.
  • Manage web production and enhancements using a web request ticketing system – Jira
  • Build and maintain asset gating policy and user experience
  • Manage PPC campaigns to drive traffic to website and targeted campaign landing pages
  • Develop community website and work with community manager and stakeholders to manage the community site

Job Requirements


  • 5+ years of web management experience for medium to large corporate websites 
  • Experience with digital marketing tools – CMS, Web analytics and marketing automation tools (experience with web personalization and ABM tools is a plus)
  • Must have experience with designing, developing and optimizing website
  • Ability to communicate web strategy, policy and enforce web governance across all websites
  • Broad understanding of latest web marketing trends and technologies
  • Experience defining SEO processes and increasing web presence on search engines
  • Experience working with remote web development and production teams
  • Work with web content writer and SMEs to build content 
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and testing tools
  • Experience designing for  interactive content development tools like Ceros and Ion Interactive
  • Must have experience working with numbers, KPIs, and optimizing conversion rates while thinking strategically
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines
  • Maintain consistent branding elements across multiple properties
  • Work experience building and managing community website and customer support portal is a big plus
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills to influence key stakeholders
