Description

  • BS or BA degree in engineering, economics, business or marketing; MS, MBA, or MA, in marketing, or business preferred.

  • 5+ years progressive experience in strategy, marketing and/or consulting services.

  • Additional 2-5 years in business-to-business or business-to-government sales preferred

  • Some knowledge of chemistry and other applications related to the water analysis industry helpful, but not required

  • Demonstrated experience in the commercial launch of new products, market segmentation techniques, market research and analysis tools and the development and use of demand creation and promotional tools and strategies

  • Awareness of competitive intelligence techniques

  • Development and implementation of business/product/marketing plans

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate and implement strategic business plans

  • Strong planning, organization, listening and communication skills

  • International experience and intercultural agility a plus

  • Ability to travel from 20% to 40% of the time

  • Portuguese, English and Spanish Proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Studies specific market potential;

  • Understands customer behavior, problems and needs;

  • Develops the long-term segment strategic plan;

  • Proposes growth strategies and business models for applicable vertical;

  • Develops formalized marketing strategy;

  • Builds in collaboration with the Demand Generation and Marketing Communications Manager specific marketing plans to support that strategy and collaborate to tailor them to each country/region;

  • Develops the tactical annual marketing plan for the vertical market he/she is responsible for.

  • Supports the attainment of the annual sales target by providing marketing programs and sales tools. Work hand in hand with Demand Generation and Marketing Communications Manager to generate quality Leads.
  • Develop annual business plan using input from Business Units and Sales Teams to identify and develop specific marketing tactics and commercial action plans to deliver annual growth objectives. Plans should include focus on the continued growth of the core business, new product launch plans, competitive response plans, new channel penetration plans, and demand creation plan.
  • Leads a cross functional team to deliver revenue commitments and growth targets for Danaher Water Quality OPCOs vertical markets.
  • Responsible for assisting in the local implementation of new products into the respective vertical market globally. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Commercialization process champion

  • Develop end user demand drivers and marketing WOW’s

  • Global demand creation strategy

  • Channel management plan
