Description

Job Brief

Any time a human interacts with a computer, there is an act of translation; a process by which the programming language of the computer is transformed into an experience that a human being can relate to.

The user experience (UX) designer's job is to create understanding between the business owners of a software platform and the end user of that platform by means of an electronic connection to create mutual understanding.  Mutual understanding is achieved when the end user’s interpretation of the experience matches the business owner’s intentions for building the software platform.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced user experience (UX) professional who is passionate about understanding user needs and delighting them with well-integrated and engaging solutions. This person dreams in CMYK and RGB, thinks with their right brain, solves complex problems and generates high-quality end-to-end online user experiences.

We hire people with a passion for applying user-centered design principles and deliver easy, simple, effective, and efficient designs. We want to "wow" our users and streamline their work.

You will be responsible for creative vision, user experience, visual communication, and asset production. Our designers are expected to be versatile and multi-faceted and have an understanding of web and native application tools and technology.  We also encourage each designer to pursue his or her particular interests, whether it be interaction, motion, typography, graphics, and communication.
