The Trade Compliance Analyst supports the global trade compliance function in developing and maintaining Pall Corporation’s import and export requirements and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance with import and export regulations regarding: classification, valuation, quantity, origin declaration, Free Trade Agreement eligibility, ongoing process maintenance, training, and other areas as identified by the business
  • Works cross-functionally with internal departments including Procurement, Engineering, the Master Data Organization, Logistics, and Quality to ensure all trade compliance requirements are met
  • Works externally with worldwide regions and the corporate office to ensure alignment with global trade initiatives and government agencies
  • Drives business-wide trade compliance process improvements to optimize the supply chain; is primary contact for questions and resolving day-to-day trade compliance issues
  • Supports daily classification activities for parts and equipment including: ECCN, HTS/Schedule B
  • Develops and maintains customs compliance/export procedures, policies, and documentation
  • Reviews and analyzes daily results from restricted party screening, embargo screening, and license checking; takes action as appropriate when holds and issues are identified
  • Collaborates with procurement and suppliers to verify country of origin status for marking and trade agreement purposes
  • Works with international affiliates to ensure import/export certificates and supporting documentation are in place
  • Supports audit related requirements as needed


  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with MS Access a plus
  • Ability to work as part of a team and cross-functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Demonstrates a high level of ethics and integrity
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Works independently with minimal direction; exercises good judgment and decision-making
  • Good organizational skills; ability to multi-task
  • Travel up to 15%
  • US Citizenship or Resident Alien status required to support government programs and projects
  • The Trade Compliance Analyst may be required to perform other duties as the business requires

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment Visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree required - Business, International Business, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years’ related import/export compliance work experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience classifying and licensing international imports/exports
  • Must have experience working in SAP (Sales and Distribution)
  • Knowledge of valuations
  • Global Trade Management (GTM) systems experience a plus
