Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:

• Conduct Mass Spectrometry and / or HPLC Theory training as required by the respective Value Streams.
• Conduct ESD Training
• Conduct Top Level and part level NCMR on job training
• Perform and/or liaise for trainings required for Test Specialists to perform their job role smoothly.
• Implement cross training programs to create a group of cross functional commissioning &/or final test teams.
• Document and update all tester certification and training records in compliance with standards set by company
• Identify gaps in existing training processes and work with respective engineers to update instructions / procedures
• Monitor associate performance and productivity. Work with line leader to identify associate product knowledge strength and weakness and develop improvement plans.
• Review QSB findings and use PFMEA tool to improve the test process.
• Stand in and support the line output as required.
• Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines
• Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned


Job Requirements


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering / Science

• Minimum 3 years of work experience with various models of mass spectrometers

• Familiar with PFMEA tool

• Experience with electronics hardware, problem solving, construction, or repair is a must

• Experience and skill with using various test equipment, meters, small hand tools to assemble or repair precision equipment is a must

• Strong written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills in English.

• Patience, meticulous, detail-oriented and organized.

• Desire to coach and mentor others

• Can work both independently and as a team player

• Good knowledge on the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Laboratory experience operating analytical chemistry equipment (organic or inorganic) would be considered an asset but not necessary
