The candidate will be responsible for improving the overall effectiveness of KaVo Imaging’s indirect and direct sales channels, aggressively leveraging our existing customer base, developing new customers and winning market share.  This will build strong, long-term customer relationships, based on value, and will help contribute to KaVo Imaging’s continued industry leadership position and strong financial performance.


  • Drive increased effectiveness and efficiency through KaVo Imaging Sales Model, value selling and Voice of the Customer initiatives to ensure a customer centric organization

  • Assess and manage sales funnel to drive forecast and planning accuracy

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with sales channel through regular participation in events, travel to customers, sales ride-alongs etc

  • Actively ensure increasing mindshare of sales channel through creative sales and marketing efforts such as: product offerings, promotions, campaigns, and training

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements



  • Microsoft Office skills are needed for this role, as well as excellent communication skills. Travel is required ranging from 10% to 50% but varies on territory.


  • 4 year degree

  • 5 years sales experience

  • 3-5 years business-to-business capital goods selling experience


  • 4 year degree in a technical or business field.

  • Prior dental sales experience strongly.

  • Effectively communicate to non-technical users KaVo Imaging (technical) hardware and software.

  • Customer Focus- A drive to discover and meet the needs of customers (either internal or external).

  • Relationship Building-  Lead the region’s efforts at maintaining and building relationships with customers and industry leaders and dealer channel / distribution partners.

  • Sales Process Improvement- driving improved sales efficiency and effectiveness through the rigorous use of sales management tools such as “sales funnels” and “ROI based selling”.

  • Sense of Urgency:-A bias for taking action – spontaneous recognition of problems and opportunities.

  • Positive Attitude – Does what it takes to successfully accomplish goals.

  • Soft Skills- The ability to engage customers verbally in a professional.
