  • Ability to work as an independent contributor in a fast-paced production laboratory/formulation environment.
  • Follow written procedures to formulate high frequency/large volume bulk reagents.
  • Mobility for the entire shift and ability to perform frequent heavy lifting/moving of materials and equipment is required.
  • Ability to read, understand, document accurately, and communicate clearly in English is required.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Perform cleaning, sanitization, assembly/disassembly of equipment.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and Quality System Regulations (QSR’s).
  • Demonstrate proficiency to learn and perform simple to more complex basic math operations, understanding / application of decimal and scientific notation and basic chemistry concepts.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the set up and use of basic laboratory equipment (pH Meter, spectrophotometer, pipettes, volumetric glassware, analytical scales, etc.).
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency to perform simple to more complex bench-top and chemistry analyzer testing.
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard-toe shoes, laboratory coat, gloves, chemical resistant suits, air purifying respirator, dust mask for long periods of time.
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency using electric pallet jacks and drum lifting devices.
  • Certified and previous experience with operation of sit-down forklift is a plus.

Job Requirements


  • AA Degree or higher.  If educational background is lab-based science courses such as, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, 0-1 year of work experience will be considered.
  • AA Degree or higher. If educational background is not-science focused, 1 or more years of work experience performing lab and/or production formulation work similar to this position is required.
