Job Summary
Responsible for execution of the methods and procedures related to the chemical and physical transformation of substances, performing analysis, lab examinations of materials, customer product,  samples, filter and separation devices in the realm of the LOB, preparing standard solutions, keeping control of results and controlling stocks of materials and reagents. Uses industry established or proprietary methods of inspection, quality control, material transformations and reviews unique product and process characteristics and select appropriate test methods and conditions to validate customers' processes. Also calibrate Pall’s instruments pertaining to the LOB and service them accordingly. Generate consistent lab test results used in technical reports.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities
• Calibrate, repair, perform IQ/OQ/PQ and issue certificates for LOB’s customer instruments generating service revenue.
• Maintain stock level of spare parts for servicing customer instruments.
• Conduct filterability testing and reports the results to evaluate the performance of filters.
• Execute integrity testing as a service revenue activity.
• Keep assays records as demanded by SOPs and regulatory practices.
• Quotes and recommend purchasing of chemicals and testing materials and instruments.
• Performs determination of ITV’s, Adsorption tests and chemical compatibility values on customers own products using Pall Corporation – SLS protocols and testing procedures.
• Other relevant activities as defined and required by management.
• Understands and complies with all company Safety and Security, Finance and HR policies and procedures as related to this position, including reading all relevant safety and security literature, using the required protective equipment and practicing good housekeeping.

Job Requirements


• BS degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or related fields. Professional experience in the knowledge field: 3-5 years.
• Ability to generate consistent lab test results used in technical reports. Familiarity with validation and quality control system.
• Ability to perform physic-chemical measurements such as viscosity, density, surface tension as well as specific filtration tests such as filterability and bench-top tests.
• Ability to perform sterile filtration validation tests such as chemical compatibility, chemical adsorption, data generation for specific integrity test values and the like.
• Good interpersonal relationship, initiative, logic thinking, organization, dynamism.
• Advanced English level.
• Desired: Microsoft office package, SAP, Lotus Notes knowledge.
