 This is a technical role dedicated to providing high-quality engineering support to meet Field Service and external customer needs on our Multimode Plate Reader platforms.  The successful candidate will be a results-driven individual with passion for customer satisfaction and who is excited to be part of a new team.  The candidate demonstrates excellent troubleshooting skills and translates his/her knowledge into effective service documentation including manuals, technical bulletins, work instructions and parts lists.
Interaction with cross functional team members is essential, including Service, Product Development, Custom Solutions, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Applications and the Customer.

Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharma, Academic research labs, Contract labs, Government installations, some clinical labs

Product Line: 
  • Microplate readers
  • Absorbance, Fluorescence, Luminescence, TRF & FP, AlphaScreen, AlphaLisa; Western Blot
  • Cellular Imaging
  • Microplate Washers  
  • Robotic plate handling systems 
  • Microarray scanners

  • Achieve territory goals & targets
  • Perform technical demonstrations, training, installations, customer support on instrument & software
  • Maintaining an accurate & up-to-date customer database in 
  • Accurate monthly forecasting for the territory
  • Performing SGL (sales generate leads) activities including but not limited to eblasts, seminars, work days with business partners 
  • Attending and participating in Regional and Local Product Shows
  • Balanced growth via both direction and distribution channel

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences discipline.
  • Successful track record of a minimum 2-3 years of field sales experience selling into life science or drug discovery industry
  • Knowledge of absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, Western Blot & cellular imaging technology.
  • Skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word 
  • CRM experience with
