Description

 To project manage a range of IDBS’ customer projects including new product/solution implementations, product upgrades and custom integration development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of large, complex technical projects (Global Projects, multi site, teams >10, project finance management) to successful conclusion.

     - Liaison with the internal & customer project stakeholders to manage expectations and address risks

     - Effective project leadership for SaaS solution deployments

     - Effective project leadership for on premise deployments (including installation, database administration, upgrades, project control, system and workflow configuration, integration, training and post-delivery support) to ensure the overall deployment meets the agreed technical and business requirements

     - Development of high quality ongoing value add customer relationships to increase stickiness and identify new ways in which IDBS can add value

- Recommend and implement technology and consulting strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements

- Support the sales team by creating Project documentation including Statements of Work, timing plans, budgets, risk and issue logs, Change Requests, JIRA boards.

- Manage both short- and longer-term projects’ technical updates to sites and application configuration builds. Own the implementation of the entire project, working with other parts of the IDBS business (Finance, Customer Support, Technical Operations, SRE & Product Delivery) to ensure overall successful project delivery.

- Maintain project documentation throughout the project including highlight reports, status, risk and issues logs, internal status sheets.

- Ensure the completion of projects on time and to meet quality standards (profitably) by coordinating resources and timetables and escalating project risks appropriately. Plan and schedule resources with internal Resource Management(s) and Heads of Department for the project lifecycle; ensuring that resources have the right skills and availability to complete project tasks.

- IDBS has a partner model to scale up project delivery capacity & capability. The role requires the matrix management of partner resources in multiple geographic locations to ensure overall successful project delivery.

- Lead feasibility studies and proof of concept initiatives as part of the sales support process & Business Consulting support for pre-project scope elicitation.

- Customer Success focused project management – emphasis on delivering value for customers and time to value.

- Work collaboratively with associates globally to share best practice and a mindset of continuous improvement.

- Provide feedback into QMS processes that promote time to value.

- Accountable for projects under management - sole responsibility for client deliverables. 

- Proactively provide product feedback and commercial/domain experience to product development.

- Manage Requirements gathering & documentation processes.

- Proactively use the Danaher Business System toolset as appropriate to ensure consistent delivery of successful projects that support IDBS’ growth goals. 

- Ensure all internal processes are executed on time and accurately to enable measurement against all metrics including but not limited to KPIs, bowler, project health, billing.  Ensure appropriate counter measures are identified and deployed in good time to ensure any variances are mitigated.

- Any other reasonable tasks as determined by line manager.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

- Experience of managing the deployment of complex B2B enterprise software (technical) to customers 

- Agile PM/BA, PMP, Prince2 or other entry level PM Certification 

- Resource (including near shore and off-shore partner) management skills

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)

- Working knowledge of JIRA 

- Relevant life sciences/pharmaceutical industry knowledge would be advantageous

- Excellent commercial awareness

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Known and respected by customers
