Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technical Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the day-to-day processing of customer purchase orders, and all other administrative tasks associated with that process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Entry of standard part purchase orders and project orders into the BAAN order entry system.

  • Review customer orders for accuracy as to pricing, delivery requirements, addresses, and payment terms.

  • Process changes to sales orders as needed.

  • Printing and distributing sales order acknowledgements.

  • Updating Salesforce as sales orders are created and shipped.

  • Maintain Customer Master Files in BAAN as new customers are added or customer information requires a modification.

  • Respond to customer calls relating to requests for pricing, order placement and checking on the status of existing orders.

  • Notarize international documents for apostille and certification as required.

  • Issue Auto Poll licenses and demo equipment as required.

  • Wyless/Iridium monthly detail.

  • Annual Maintenance Contract renewals and quoting.

  • Work with all departments to insure the efficient, timely fulfillment of orders and to maintain good relationships with OTT HydroMet Corp customers.

  • Calculate data usage for web hosted customers.

  • Other duties and requests as needed by all members of Management and TM’s.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Background, and Requirements):

  • High School diploma; some College preferred (Associates Degree)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to interface with all departments to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to work with all customers in a professional manner.
