Description

Position Objective: 

This exciting opportunity is to join our team in Norway as an Inside Sales Engineer and you will specifically look after Pall’s Fluid Technology & Asset Protection markets. This will primarily be for the Northern Europe, Central & Southern Africa region, it’s a fantastic opportunity to build a career in a global environment. You will provide technical and commercial support to customers, distributors and our field based sales team, primarily within the FTAP sector. Your skills and technical expertise will contribute directly to our success and play a key role in our team supporting our customers in the FTAP markets, with a main focus on Norway and Denmark.

Role and Duties:

Provide pre-sales support:
  • Use customer information to select, size and cost appropriate Pall Products in order to offer customer quotations.
  • Contract review of orders for correct price, part numbers and conditions. 
  • Support sales in following up quotations to secure orders. 
  • Call dormant, lost and potentially new customers. 
  • Provide technical support for customers and sales organisation.
Provide aftersales support: 
  • Respond to customer questions, complaints & similar.
  • To assist in training and development of new or less experienced team members. 
  • To help cover the duties of the Sales Technical Support Manager, in his absence.
  • To meet the departmental and individual key performance indicators agreed with your Line Manager. 

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Qualifications: 
  • Degree in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • Fluent in Norwegian, Englishe. Any other language is a bonus.
  • Quick learner, able to develop comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively by telephone is essential.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written are essential. Fluent in Norwegian and English with other languages a bonus.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to embrace change within a busy sales office environment, and take ownership of issues until fully resolved.
