Description

The Distribution Technician is responsible for ensuring all shipping tasks are completed timely and accurately in B&T and shipping during second shift. This position will work 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with overtime as necessary.
  • Ensures all lines are picked, packed, transacted and ship confirmed in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with Planners and Customer Service Representatives to ensure orders are processed to meet on-time delivery goals.
  • Communicates with the NA Transportation group as necessary to ensure appropriate approvals are received for transportation.
  • Perform all aspects of the operation; picking parts, packing parts
  • Schedules carriers as necessary.
  • Use of an Oracle RF Scanner to transact inventory.
  • Ability to create truck manifests.
  • Runs reports and reconciles outstanding shipments at end of night.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • Warehouse/shipping experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including, Excel and Outlook.
  • Prior experience  preparing and shipping international shipments.
  • Oracle experience a plus.
  • Experience with preparing and shipping international shipments.
  • Must be able to lift 45 lbs. 
  • Prior Forklift Certification required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift :1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Preferred:
  • Prior Team Lead experience
  • Oracle or ERP experience
  • Previous experience with RF device
