The Opportunity:

The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager is the leadership steward for all elements of recruiting processes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for talent acquisition and process improvement. The primary responsibility will be to serve as the Operations Leader for the recruiting processes across the L&D platform. In this role, you will effectively partner internally with the Talent Acquisition recruiting teams to advance Talent Acquisition processes and externally with other Talent Acquisition functions supporting to enhance system capability and improve the candidate experience.

The Position:


The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager will lead all aspects of talent acquisition operations. This means that the person will continually analyze talent acquisition processes, identifying efficiencies, gaps and determining process improvement plans, for the Life Sciences and Diagnostics Platforms in EMEA.  The businesses are in the process of moving from a highly decentralized structure of Talent Acquisition to a platform level approach to benefit from scale and capability. The TA Operations Manager will help to lead this transformation, together with the Head of TA EMEA

The Role will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition EMEA-- Life Sciences & Diagnostics. The position location is flexible/ remote with preference for being close to one of our core businesses. The TA Operations Manager will play a critical role in executing in several core areas of this talent agenda including:

  • Drive Talent acquisition process excellence, including utilization of the Danaher Business System (DBS) to identify, implement and maintain continuous improvement efforts.

  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting processes and techniques, determine effectiveness and efficiency of efforts, and track success
  • Design and manage performance metrics to meet/exceed department goals
  • Evangelize a strong, collaborative relationship between the talent acquisition team and the different businesses in the L&D platform
  • Manage a Team of inspired Recruitment Coordinators

  • Provide operational support as we build global Talent Acquisition capabilities.

  • Create and manage a process for all vendor relationships
  • Work in conjunction with the TA Leader EMEA and the VP, Global Talent Acquisition to ensure processes are consistent with the business goals
  • Influence organizational thinking with best practice approaches to measuring talent acquisition outcomes

  • Responsible for developing and implementing solutions to hiring impediments with full partnership of the HR Leaders and Talent leads
  • Manage recruitment reporting process-compile recruiting metrics, interpret data trends, areas of strength, and areas of opportunities
  • Partner with DHR TA Ops team on recruitment technology, process and tools to achieve operational excellence, including the optimization of the ATS (WD). 
  • Discover trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices and technology
  • Develop strategic approach to third-party vendor solutions including; RPOs, mobility, social media, recruitment advertising, etc

  • Drive recruiting technology through optimizing current systems and enhancing longer term alignment with the strategy.

  • Manage key TA processes such as relocation, assessments.

  • Ensure legal compliance with all regulatory requirements and regional employment regulations.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive experience in the Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Operations and/or Program Management within a global, multi-site Enterprise   

  • Proven leader in the field of Talent Acquisition, TA Operations and programs across a global company with measurable results of success, while enabling a well-integrated recruiting function known for process excellence, innovation and measurable ROI

  • TA experience, working across cultures and geographies. 

  • Demonstrated success in partnering across a de-centralized company,

  • Experience working in a lean/kaizen culture focused on continuous improvement with a track record of utilizing these methodologies as a business practice.

  • Experience working with Taleo and Workday is preferred.

  • Experience with Workday and Oracle Business Intelligence is preferred.

  • Willingness to travel 15%.
