As a system administrator/DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Manage document-handling systems (wiki, alfresco,…)
  • Manage issue-tracking systems (jira,…)
  • Manage source-control systems (perforce, git,…)
  • Manage build environments (both for on-premise and cloud software)
  • Manage test environments (both for on-premise and cloud software)
  • Manage test-case management systems (testlink,…)
  • Create reports concerning system performance and usage
  • Make proposals to improve tools and procedures in R&D
  • Make proposals to deploy software to Esko cloud (AWS)
  • Make proposals to run software on the Esko cloud (security, logging,…)
  • Manage IT related budget within R&D
  • Be a member of the TAG

Job Requirements

  • Up-to-date knowledge about

    o   Software Development Lifecycle

    o   Requirements gathering and specification authoring

    o   Issue tracking

    o   Source control

    o   Contiunuous integration

    o   Testing

    o   Software deployment

    o   Clould deployment/management

  • Critical thinking skills for effective problem analysis and resolution are required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher level of education. Typically computer science background.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 6 weeks annually.
