Description

  • Leadership through ownership and a management style of accountability
    Established methodologies with proven cross functional facilitation within operational projects
    Holistic thinker focused on business needs when implementing change
    Experienced partner in Operational Planning, logistics and warehousing
    Intuitive understanding of planning, capacity, and capability in a fulfilment context
    Demonstrated ability to organize information and communicate complex plans and context
    Leadership of hourly associate warehouse team
    Thought leader and facilitator with wide breadth of scope, managing cross functional programs, driving planning strategy to improve scheduling and tool efficiencies. Critical proven activities should include OEE improvements, anticipation of cross functional business requirements, development of strategy for project execution, coordination of multi-echelon implementations, and full accountable for targeted business deliverables.
    Position requires a holistic thinker, proven senior level facilitator across operations and supply chain, proven rapid transformations, and capability of highly effectively influence of leadership at both C-level and operational supervisor levels. Responsible for management of complex cross functional programs to successful and timely decision points supporting world class supply chain operations efficiency and capacity utilization. Also responsible for managing and supervising a warehouse group. Serves as a key planning interface between a component level manufacturing site and an upper level Engineering and Final Assembly HQ site.
    •Demonstrated success improving OEE, capacity planning, scheduling and production planning.

    •Experienced as lead with operational shop floor management, enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools, quality management, and quality metric methodology, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
    •Proven track record of high quality strategic decision making with multi factory global impact
    •Implementation of successful continuous improvement through Lean Leadership (Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, and Gemba Walks.)
    •Demonstrated success as technical expert in broad supply chain areas, supporting management, creative new solutions, and execution of wide breadth of initiatives
    •Broad expertise in multiple supply chain disciplines, with broad expert knowledge across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and others
    •Ability to manage a warehouse/logistics team
    •Proven high level capability to concisely communicate complex and controversial issues
    •Optimize cross functional resources to achieve complex and unique objectives within budget and timelines
    •Demonstrated project integration, planning, communication, and documentation skills to oversee and prepare project team resources requirements in collaboration with cross-functional departments.
    •Proven track record of steering committee facilitation and communication of analytics, charter, processes, activities, decisions, and change. Ensures socialization and documentation.
    •Develop and facilitate proposals, to support organizing and conducting relevant, concise, data driven, professional presentations to leadership with recommendations.
    •Demonstrated ability to translate strategy to action; Influence, negotiation, change mgt, and presentation
    •Proven expertise with project management practices, tools, and methodology to manage complex project timelines and resources. Also strategy deployment and value-stream mapping leadership.
    •Proven experience leading Kaizen events including elements such as standard work, planning process, value-analysis, material flow, or Heijunka. Implementation and teaching lean practices.
    •Knowledge of good manufacturing practice for medical devices in FDA regulated environment desired.
    •Working knowledge of high-volume injection molding is helpful but not required.
    •Working knowledge of machine tools and machine tool engineering is helpful but not required.
    •B.S. in Life Sciences or Supply Chain with 10 yrs OPs planning and execution work experience desired.
