Description

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing supply chain data and then executing on that analysis by recommending and/or leading improvements to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.  The Supply Chain Analyst will also be required to collaborate globally across the organization and with external vendors to identify and realize these improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops reporting tools out of Company’s ERP system for supply chain monitoring of inventory, service levels and logistics.
  • Recommends improvements to existing logistics, planning and processes.
  • Analyzes logistics, planning and forecast data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit analysis.
  • Applies analytic methods or tools to understand, predict, or control logistics operations or processes.
  • Interprets data on supply chain elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.
  • Good understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and demand planning.
  • Supports production planning/master scheduling activities, including order management, resource planning, delivery promising (ATP management), and production forecasting and reporting of actual manufacturing results vs. plan.
  • Provides back up to certain planning functions as required.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • BS degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field required.
  • APICS certification preferred.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel capabilities required.
  • Experience with an ERP System required, SAP preferred. 
  • Multilingual (English/Spanish), both written and spoken highly desired.
  • Experience with business analytics software such as QlikView is highly desired.
  • Previous experience with a medical device company is highly desired.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Uses rigorous logic to solve problems. Probes all sources for answers. Looks beyond the obvious.
  • Makes timely, sound decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
  • Ability to gain followership and drive results.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team player with a positive attitude that can work well across all functional groups.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and complete projects on time. 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • 10% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations
  • Occasional overnight trips
