The position is responsible for all the aspects of scheduling, forecasting, planning, inventory level management, and customer service levels related to the Supply Chain.

Supports the establishment and maintenance of key metrics and performance measurements and is involved with project management of key products, programs, and/or suppliers.


  • Translate customer requirements into manufacturing priorities and purchase requirements based on available inventory and manufacturing programs

  • Work closely with Sales and/or Customer Service to align supply with demand

  • Collaborate with Global Demand Planner on PSI processes and monitor local forecast

  • Responsible for planning systems and Kanban concepts, such as time fences, demand input, consumption rules, Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and Inventory Management at Gemba (IMAG)

  • Manage Item Master control and maintenance of key attributes for assigned product families

  • Controls due dates and expedites product receipts as necessary

  • Actively communicates with manufacturing and/or suppliers regarding product availability and delivery performance

  • Provides organization with accurate information regarding product availability, delivery dates and possible problem areas

  • Identifies changes required to improve planning and distribution processes and sees them through to implementation

  • Work cross functionally to lead efforts towards evaluating current state and altering the replenishment parameters to improve in stocks and / or reduce inventory investment

  • Leads process and cost improvement developments which meet and exceed the strategy set

  • Accountable for driving Inventory turn performance, maintain action plans and improve OTD sustainment by driving root cause and counter measure analysis (PSP)

  • Work with various teams to install and drive solid Daily Management (DM)

  • Embrace Danaher Business System (DBS) mindset of continuous improvement

  • Complies with ISO procedures

  • Actively supports other material team members in their daily tasks

Job Requirements


Most Important Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent

  • Knowledge about Supply Chain management

  • Demonstrated knowledge of planning, purchasing and inventory management systems

  • Strong analytical and mathematical background

  • “High energy”, self-driven by goals and results

  • Fluent in English (Verbal, Written), proficiency with another language is a plus
