Description

General Summary: 
Serve as an expert in the review, insights and analysis of business processes across all functional areas.  Work closely with other functional departments to develop a thorough knowledge of business process and system requirements, focused on improving efficiency and effectiveness of people, processes and system requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis from the global demand plan and manufacturing capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning accuracy
• Gather and analyze historical data to identify trends and customer segmentation
• Develop statistical forecast and make baseline adjustment recommendations
• Generate, update and maintain monthly consensus forecast plan, month-to-date, quarterly, and year-to-date forecast reports
• Provide weekly shortage reports based on demand/supply
• Responsible for tracking new SKU launches to align supply and customer demand
• Review and provide analysis on quarterly basis of all discontinued and slow movers
• Responsible for reporting total inventory (Supplier inventory, obsolete & excess) and help optimize inventory levels
• Assemble operational insights to identify and improve bottlenecks, potential shortages, and manufacturing risks.
• Demonstrated project planning, project management, problem solving and work prioritization
• Create monthly/quarterly/yearly KPI's as required by the manager
• Maintain metrics (Forecast Accuracy, Reports, Scheduling output, Inventory turnover, Inventory targets, On-time delivery, etc.)
• Create and update Standard Work documentation
• Evaluate data, systems, and process functionality
• Other jobs duties as assigned

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain and/or Inventory Control preferred
• Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of global end-to-end supply chain, manufacturing, and material management
• Experience in Microsoft office, Database Management, ERP - (Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred)
• Ability to use Advance Excel functionality
• Ability to adapt in fast growing environment
• Interacts respectfully and professionally with all customers, colleagues, suppliers etc.
• Takes initiative to drive process improvement with exceptional business acumen
• At least 2 years of Experience in Planning / Supply Chain
