Provides improvement in delivered quality of product from supplier base, both in terms of defective product and OTD. Deploy, manage and improve Supplier Quality Management processes that align with key elements in the Pall Corp QMS, BU level QMS and business driven needs, including initial and on-going supplier approval. Partner NPI, Strategic sourcing and operations to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.    

Performance objectives to include Supplier PPM, Supply Chain Process Escape Incidents, NCMR response quality and timeliness, CAPA (Corrective Action/Preventive Action) cycle time and effectiveness.                 

Achieve yearly Supplier Quality targets through:
Effective and efficient daily management leadership, effective and efficient problem solving using the Danaher Problem Solving Process, Action Plan development and execution leadership, Cross-functional project management and quality kaizen/continuous improvement leadership
Actively maintain a supplier approval process, both initial and on-going approvals including supplier auditing
Collaborate with NPR NPI teams and strategic sourcing to ensure agreed RFT Quality and delivery targets are achieved
Develop and deploy a strategy of supplier improvement that actively moves supplier performance from a reactive to a proactive activity
Support all phases of Supply Chain Quality Assurance
Perform Supply Chain Incident/Error Investigation and Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective/Preventative Action activities to improve both OTD and Delivered parts PPM in line with agreed KPI’s
Provide support for Supplier Development and Performance Review
Develop Supplier Quality/Inspection Planning, and administer Source Inspection and Corrective Action Verification activities
Conduct and manage Pre-Award, Quality Management System, and Product/Process Audits

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
5 years of progressive Quality Assurance experience, including ISO9001 and AS9100 Aerospace requirements
5 years of experience within Operations in a manufacturing organization with a metric and results driven culture, required

Position Competencies 
Strong understanding of Aerospace Quality Systems, Contractual Requirements, Inspection and Test, and Root Cause and Corrective Action disciplines.
AS9100/ISO9001 Lead Auditor Certification, preferred.
Strong competency with Microsoft Office Suite, Material Management (SAP Preferred), and Quality Management System software. 
Must be proficient at Excel and able to analyze and interpret data 
Demonstrated success owning and achieving metric improvement goals through cross-functional project management, required.
Prior experience with utilizing lean methodology and tools to improve quality and / or overall operations processes, highly preferred
