Beckman Coulter is a Danaher company, operating in two industries: Diagnostics and Life Sciences. 


  • The Supplier Quality Analyst  ensures suppliers deliver quality product on an on-going basis, while developing supplier capability for future needs. This includes supplier selection & approval, material qualification, material control and supplier development activities. The individual will be responsible for assisting in  investigations of nonconforming materials to understand the root cause of failure.  The person plans, coordinates, and reports on material projects and supplier performance. The individual must demonstrate sound technical ability and decision making to achieve the desired results. The person will represent QA on development, manufacturing and product improvement projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Disposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent reoccurrence

    • Execution of supplier management plans to improve supplier and product performance

    • Plans and organizes both routine and non-routine tasks such as Supplier Selections, Change Notifications, Audits, Corrective Actions and Supplier Scorecards

    • Develop supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plans

    • Primary supplier quality representative for root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier caused manufacturing issues  

    • Visit suppliers to resolve product performance concerns.

    • Recommend appropriate field actions to product regulatory committee

    • Establish and cultivate relationships with both internally and externally through strong communication methods (written and verbal)s

Job Requirements


    • BS degree with minimum 0-2 years related experience

    • Experience with ISO13485, 9001 standards a plus

    • Functional experience in Supplier Management in a regulated industry, i.e. supplier development, material specification development & monitoring, supplier approval & material qualification, and supplier auditing a plus

    • FDA regulated environment experience recommended.

    • Fast learner able to quickly become adept at using the Danaher Business System tool set

    • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to manage team by influence

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

    • Customer orientation & results driven

    • Knowledge of GDT and ability to interpret engineering drawings

    • Experience with sampling plans, process capability analysis and measurement systems analysis

    • Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project
