The Reagents Manufacturing Supervisor, supervises the filling, packaging and material handling ensuring production goals and quality objectives are met in an FDA regulated environment.

  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introductions, equipment efficiency and materials supplies
  • Monitors operating budget 
  • Assigns / manages staffing of full time and temporary employees to ensure production is maintained 
  • Ensures adherence to the site safety program 
  • Recommends hiring/firing/disciplinary decisions affecting employees 
  • Ensures optimal efficiency by implementing productivity improvement including Lean Manufacturing, and cost controls. 
  • Participates in multi-functional teams to drive continuous improvement 
  • Ensures all FDA, ISO and related regulatory requirements are consistently met 

Job Requirements


  • Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of manufacturing experience. A degree in a scientific discipline is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience required
  • Must have excellent documentation skills and be detail oriented
  • Previous experience with Oracle, SAP or other ERP system preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude helpful
  • Previous experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment preferred
