Description

As a member of the System Integration Team you will be an integral part of Research and Development. Together with Architects and Technical Leads, you will drive the integration of cross functional elements to deliver superior products exceeding customer expectations. Your primary responsibility will be bringing cross functional elements of complex systems together, identify functional gaps, and use your project management skills to coordinate inter-disciplinary actions to close them. For most of your activities, your focus will be SW/IT but you always think about the whole system. Finally, you have two hearts beating in your chest since you like project management nearly as much as working hands-on with technology.

Very specific tasks will be:

  • Get deep understanding of SW and system architecture and SW development and deployment process
  • Spend significant hands-on time at prototype systems
  • Integrate main system functions
  • Support root cause analysis
  • Support assessment and improvement of system stability
  • Coordinate activities which are affecting multiple sub-teams

You will use the company's Business System (e.g. Visual Project Management, KAIZEN, Problem Solving Process), host project relevant meetings (e.g. Daily Management), evaluate and create project relevant data and documents, and communicate with multiple different departments (e.g. Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Service).

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or Doctoral degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the field of medical engineering
  • Several years experience in SW development and/or Systems Engineering and/or IT administration
  • Several years experience in projects within a matrix organization
  • Specific experience in the fields of medical engineering is a plus
  • Pro-active, flexible and thorough working method, as well as the ability to confidently interact with senior designers
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communications skills.

You can adapt your approach to the context and constraints of each project, knowing that no "one size" can fit all the variety of projects and you are always willing to improve yourself and the teams' skills.
