Job Responsibilities

  • Creates and executes strategies from the ground up to improve the performance of the SQM and broader supply chain, manufacturing and product development organizations through operational excellence principles in the areas of quality, cost and delivery
  • Coaches, mentors, and develops supplier quality leaders to improve competency in their technical depth, broad business acumen, program management and product development methodology, and operating results
  • Work cross functionally effectively with the ability to focus on the broader business issues over functional responsibility

Job Requirements


Education Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; emphasis in Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering preferred.

 Experience Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years related experience. Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex programs/projects successfully through demonstrated operating and performance results.
  • Technical depth and breathe in the area of supply management
  • Expert level in auditing and assessing production and quality capabilities according to international standards such as ISO/TS16959
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and materials operations, preferably from direct work experience, with the ability to understand and satisfy the needs of these stakeholders
  • Ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees; exhibiting exemplary communication skills
  • Language: English
