Position Description

We are seeking a highly innovative, extractables and leachables chemist to join our Biopharmaceutical Sciences Consulting team at our New England Center of Excellence site in Westborough, MA. Working with polymeric, single use- and biopharmaceutical processing equipment, the successful candidate will provide technical and regulatory guidance related to E&L testing requirements as well as how these data are used to support successful end-user regulatory filings. The individual will work closely with a global, multi-disciplinary team including customers, sales, scientists and engineers. This role offers high impact, high visibility opportunities in a rapidly growing business segment.

Key Job Skills

  • Strong project management skills handling, manipulating and sharing complex data

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proven background in analytical and organic chemistry with understanding of chromatographic/spectrographic techniques such as FTIR, IC, ICP/MS, UV/Vis, UHPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-MS

  • Knowledgeable with FDA, ICH, and ISO guidelines relating to assessment of extractables and leachables

  • Experience in cGMP and bioprocess applications

  • Spanish Fluency desirable


  • MS or PhD in Analytical Chemistry (or related equivalent)
