Description

The Senior Pricing & Contract Analyst will work directly with the Contracting team in preparing offers, RFP’s, Bids, addendum, amendments and driving flawless execution of contracts, deal approvals and pre booking orders where considerable judgment and initiative are necessary.  This position will be the expert on contract authoring and ensuring development of error proof contract documents while maintaining high attention to detail.  Those responsibilities include identifying any discrepancy or potential gaps in pricing approvals and focused in continuously improving the process; recommending solutions and sharing best practices is required. Senior Pricing & Contract Analyst is also responsible for reviewing redlines of contract terms and conditions in close coordination with Legal and sales for timely turnaround time (TAT). This role will maintain close collaboration with various departments/stakeholders, including sales, sales management, operations, client on-boarding, legal and finance. Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Review of proposal details to ensure compliance to company policies, GPO’s terms and pricing guidelines to support profitable sales growth.
  • Advises sales on objection handling techniques, alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closures.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross functional peers and superiors to ensure overall streamlined process and champion contract policy and procedure revisions.
  • Ensures coordination with Legal, Finance, Service, Marketing, and IT on contract matters as relevant.
  • Is a sales advocate & partner to internal organizations to understand sales issues.
  • Assist sales and support staff in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and drive for improvements.
  • Collaborate with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closures.
  • Maintain complex assignments where independent judgment, action and initiative are necessary.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of experience in Contracting, Quoting, Pricing or related is required
  • Excellent English and French Canadian communication.
  • Must be bilingual in French Canadian
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time sensitive environment are required.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Must be self-motivated and flexible.

  • Must possess strong analytical skills and pay attention to details while ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards.
  • Experience with the Oracle or other ERP system is favorable.
  • Paralegal skills are a plus
