The Sr. Materials Analyst reports to the Materials Supervisor and leads strategic, long-term activities to improve material flow, presentation, and support inventory reduction activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements Kanban supermarkets to drive efficient flow for consumable chemical product manufacturing
  • Coordinate with other sites on changes in demand and forecast, and make appropriate adjustments in procurement settings such as reorder point, reorder quantity etc. based on shelf life and lead time
  • Minimize risk of stock out in production and packaging, while improving on-time delivery, inventory turns and minimizing product expiry due to shelf life constraints
  • Provides strategic information signals into the supply chain, through collaboration with suppliers
  • Leads kaizen improvements including Dynamic Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, Inventory Management at Gemba, TPI
  • Works with the entire supply chain to understand the system including roles and responsibilities
  • Participate and lead the Daily Management for Materials Planning
  • Key Performance Measurements:
  • On Time Delivery – Including but not limited to Supplier OTD
  • Inventory Management at Gemba
  • Physical Inventory

Job Requirements


Required Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
  • 2-4 years of experience in Production, Demand Planning or Industrial Supply Chain environment
  • Leadership skills, ability to influence people
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Experience with completing Oracle (or similar ERP) manufacturing transactions

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-driven nature to solve day-to-day problems and solve long-term problems, prioritizing accordingly
  • Ability to act independently and make the appropriate decisions with minimal supervision as necessary
  • Strong communication in English (Reading, writing, and verbal)
  • Technical writing experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
