Purpose of Position

Role Description

Hach is seeking a Senior Global eCommerce Manager to join its marketing communications team. You will be responsible for generating incremental eCommerce traffic and transactions for Hach, while developing and executing on strategies to drive online sales, conversion, engagement and digital innovation. The ideal candidate will have strong eCommerce acumen, the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented, while using advanced data analysis to identify and deliver actionable business insights and tactics. You will deliver advanced data analyses and convert raw data into meaningful and actionable business insights. You'll use these tools to identify and resolve platform and channel needs to impact our customers' overall purchase experience. This role will report to the Global Manager of Digital Marketing.

Essential Functions
  • Deliver on global eCommerce targets with support from a cross-functional team to drive on strategic priorities. 
  • Lead a cross-functional agile growth team to identify key opportunities that will establish a path for quick resolution, propose approaches for more complicated opportunities, and investigate and diagnose anomalies to identify and triage underlying issues.
  • Use site performance analytics to find growth opportunities. Manage KPIs to interpret quantitative data sets, to interpret and convey online metrics, and to establish countermeasures to achieve desired impact with A/B testing and pilots, online and offline promotions, merchandising, and inbound marketing.    
  • Identify new growth revenue opportunities using internal and external data to build business cases for key market initiatives with internal teams.
  • Create and drive sell-through via content, brand presence, promotions, competitive positioning, and channel dynamics.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data through usability testing and voice of customer, presenting insights and recommendations to leadership that deliver customer value and sustainable success. 

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • BA in Digital Marketing or equivalent experience required. 
  • 5-7 years of experience in eCommerce strategy/management, business analysis/data analytics, or digital omni-channel marketing in a B2B global business environment. 
  • Data-driven with demonstrated competency in advanced data analytics, structured problem-solving and enterprise-level site analytics platform preferred (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Domo, etc.). 
  • Previous experience working with inbound marketing tactics - such as email, display advertising, SEM, SEO, personas, and the buyer’s journey. 
  • Passionate about enhancing the customer experience and driving usability improvements.
  • Focus on the continuous efforts to solve problems through scalable processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Amazon Marketplace an asset, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with experience working with global teams in large multi-functional environments.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and gain followership. 
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable contributing and presenting to sales, marketing and leadership. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under a deadline. 
  • Very strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Will work on-site at the Loveland or Dusseldorf office.
