POSITION SUMMARY:  The Sr. Financial Analyst role will support reporting requirements and provide analytical and decision support to Finance and Commercial teams, including Sales, Marketing and Service.  He/she must be able to develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning & analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.  The incumbent will be required to review and improve current reporting processes with the ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly forecast submission (and annual budget) for revenue and direct margin;  monthly variance analysis against forecast and year-over-year
  • Sales reporting by customer and product line for the assigned business units and customer segments
  • Quantitative analysis and tracking of key sales performance metrics
  • Administer customer rebates/incentives programs as needed
  • Develop and maintain tracking and analyze ROI for various commercial programs
  • Provide guidance and ensure compliance with commercial delegation of authority
  • Analysis and support of sales compensation programs
  • Provide guidance to operations on PSI process (demand forecasting)
  • Other duties as assigned

Solid process documentation and analytical skills are needed, along with experience in G/L, Financial Reporting and financial systems. Clear verbal and written communication skills are needed and are important for cross-functional scope and driving results at all levels in the region.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Oracle 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business related field
  • HFM or Enterprise experience preferred.
