Sr. Associate Engineer

Position Objective

To provide technical support on filtration, product performance and contamination reduction to internal and external Customers.

Job Functions
  • Perform laboratory experiments in-house testing without supervision. - 40%
  • Preform sample prep for testing, review laboratory job orders, relevant MSDS and fully understand requirements in accordance with laboratory SOPs. - 40%
  • Determine availability of required equipment and materials, and prepare or order required materials. - 5%
  • Review timeline and discuss schedule conflicts or modifications with lab management (and project manager, when necessary).  Document preparation information appropriately (e.g. Test L/Ns) in laboratory notebooks. - 5%  
  • Travel performing off-site testing in semiconductor fabs evaluating filter performance and/or troubleshoot customer filtration issues. - 10%

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Semiconductor Sciences
  • 1+ years' experience in Semiconductor Chemistry from the semiconductor industry or University semiconductor setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Semiconductor Sciences
  • 2+ years' experience in Semiconductor Chemistry from the semiconductor industry or University semiconductor setting
