Description


The ChemTreat Turkey (CT) Sr. Analyst Accounting & Reporting reports to the North America Controller.  This role will be responsible for all aspects of accounting in CT Turkey, maintaining monthly schedules, including but not limited to, intercompany transactions, sales, collections, inventory management and balance sheet reconciliations. This position is also responsible for the application of GAAP principles with all aspects of the accounting functions, primarily related to adjusting journal entries, and assistance with month-end procedures and submission of the monthly, quarterly and year-end financials and supplemental information to CT Corporate.
  • Support SLA agreement with VideoJet and 3PL partners regarding inventory management & logistics.
  • Actively communicate sales orders and PO between customers and Chemtreat Operations in NA.
  • Invoice customers in Turkey for products delivered and support revenue recognition process.
  • Account for Inventory in Transit and Inventory at the Warehouse.
  • Participate of Inventory Physical Count Take
  • Lead billing and collections of local accounts receivables and cash settlement of I/C transactions.
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, expense reconciliations for key accounts, and various asset continuity schedules.
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations.
  • Assist the Controller in the preparation and review of corporate consolidation and presentation results for senior management.
  • Assist with monthly income statement account analysis and communicate variances and concerns to manager as appropriate.
  • Assist in month end closing operations as well as month end schedules and reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts.
  • Participate in the review of accounting controls and processes, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with FP&A on sales forecasts and other deliverables.
  • Assist in other general accounting activities as required.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate all issues to all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead others; Create an environment of collaboration & teamwork

  • Must have a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA Required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related progressive experience in accounting and reporting.
  • Experience of 2+ years in audit a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, especially Excel). Oracle-HFM and Essbase knowledge preferred. 
  • Fluency in English required.
