Description


With the need for high quality and highly reliable software, medical device software development is both challenging and rewarding. 
As Project Manager for Leica Biosystems’ BOND Controller, you will be responsible for the definition, development and delivery of software that positively impacts on thousands of lives, globally every year.
Working in a lean and agile environment you should be inspired to lead and mentor highly engaged and motivated development teams that are geographically diverse with locations in Melbourne, Australia and Bangalore, India.

In this role you will:

• Manage the day to day activities of a globally distributed software development team
• Track progress through burn-up/burn-down charts and associated leading metrics
• Organise and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews and retrospectives
• Manage the product backlog and associated work packages
• Lead sprint and release planning
• Collaborate with key stakeholders

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:


• Agile delivery  and associated relevant experience e.g. Scrum, Kanban etc.

• Prioritising, estimating, iteration planning, managing burndowns and retrospectives

• Issues management and stakeholder management

• A team leader with a high level of initiative, self-motivation, proactive and energetic

• Be commercially pragmatic while dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement

• Ability to sustain a high level of engagement and trust with team members

• Excellent face-to-face and written communication skills 


Desirable skills & Experience:

Hands on experience with .Net development 

• Worked in a Continuous Integration/Continuous delivery environment.
