We need an engineer who can innovate creative solutions and is comfortable working in a cross functional environment on a software development team supporting legacy products and R&D.  The role will involve working with the development or updating of software tools used by a variety of groups to drive efficiency and quality in our process.  Our Products are medical devices used in hospital laboratories to do blood analysis.  As a result we need to follow rigorous development processes and design practices to ensure quality of our software.

Our team makes use of mostly Microsoft tools to get our work done and manage what we are working on. C++ is the primary programming language used by the team.  The team you would be joining has members at out Chaska Facility as well as Bangalore India.  This should give you lots of opportunity to learn from the many outstanding engineers we have working on our products.


Job Requirements


  • Full-time undergraduate or graduate student attending an accredited college/university
  • Non-graduating status (i.e. graduation date cannot be prior to August of any given year)
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Eligible to work 40 hours per week for the summer program length of 10 to 12 weeks
  • Bachelors in the following disciplines - Electrical Engineering, Biomedical, or Computer Sciences
