Description

I.        General Summary & Overall Challenges

The Manager develops and maintains his group to become an organization that develops our commercial websites, our customer portal and associated digital services, which compliments Radiometers products. The Manager plans, directs and implements activities to maximize the value creation for Radiometer.

 

II.        Key Responsibilities

•         Run development team based on Scrum and appropriate agile practices

•         Collaborate with Scrum Product Owner in Copenhagen, ensuring prioritized backlog items are refined and ready for sprint.

•         Drive test process to ensure software is releasable after each sprint, incl. ensuring necessary documentation

•         Develop and maintain agile development infrastructure, including continuous build, automated deployment, regression testing framework, etc.

•         Develop and maintain test and production environments, as well as branching and deployment strategies

•         Development and maintain capabilities in the Sitecore platform (not just CMS), which is our chosen strategic platform for customer facing web solutions. Act as Business Partner in for utilizing Sitecore for maximum effect.

•         Motivate and empower the team, ensuring high performance and On-Time-Delivery of various projects.

•         Ensuring full compliance with relevant work practices, as required by Radiometer quality system

Demonstrate Danaher values and adopt DBS tools across team

Qualifications

I.        Requirements for this position (“What” the candidate can do)

a)  Formal Education

•         Four-year-degree (BE/BTech) in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent.

 

b)  “Must Have” Competencies / Skills / Experience

•         12+ years of software development experience

•         Must have working knowledge of the Sitecore platform.

•         Must understand the envisioned use of Sitecore (by Sitecore) and understand the concepts behind the Sitecore Experience Platform.

•         Must have experience minimum 2 years of documented experience with managing diverse teams of SW professionals, recruiting talent, developing people for optimal performance.

•         Must have experience working in agile development methodologies with understanding of several aspects of SW development processes

•         Proven ability to create a high performance culture, which fosters On-Time-Delivery with Quality and Content.

•         Solid verbal and written communication skills and able to take decisions even under pressure

•         Able to think analytically and to draw conclusions, possess strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities

•         Organized and persistent: Able to prioritize, organize and get things done. Good at executing.

•         Ambitious, performance oriented and able to work independently

•         Operational mind-set with focus on deadlines, detail and quality oriented.

•         Flexible, willing to “go the extra mile” while at the same time being an agile and fast learner.
