The Shipping and Receiving Clerk processes all inbound and outbound shipments for the US Warehouse, including customer and supplier shipments.
  • Walking, standing and driving material handling equipment to receive, put away, retrieve and ship product to domestic and international customers.
  • Must be able to use SAP to execute system transactions.
  • Must be customer focused and willing to help customer needs related to shipping when necessary.
  • Must be highly accountable to team efforts.  Must work well with fellow team members and be able to handle different tasks through any given day
  • Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. 
  • Walk to pick orders
  • Stand at packing and processing stations.
  • Use forklifts and other material handling equipment to put away and retrieve inventory.
  • Records shipment data, including weight. 
  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies. 
  • Maintains sufficient stock of all shipping-related supplies.
  • Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes. 
  • Completes shipping and receiving reports. 
  • Coordinates materials for conference/convention displays and ensures timely shipment.  
  • Coordinates engineering supplies and equipment deliveries.
  • As necessary, responds to customer inquiries related to shipments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume shipping and receiving department required.
  • Must be able to execute multiple different tasks daily.
Desired Skills/Experience:  
  • International shipping and receiving experience strongly preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s Degree preferred.

    • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision
  • Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, most work is in a warehouse environment setting.  Lighting and temperature are adequate.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy.
  • Facility has cement floors and moving forklifts.  
  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special program events
  • Building is temperature controlled at ambient.  No warmer than 72F.
