Description

Leica Microsystems is recruiting for a Service Sales Specialist to join its Northern Europe team based at our office in Milton Keynes, UK.
Key Responsibilities for the role will be:
- Contract Renewal management. Keep, cross-sell and up-sell contracts in current installed base
- Negotiate contracts for End of Warranty / Warranty extension equipment
- Realise additional revenue by generating contracts for customers with equipment not under contract
- Partner and build long-term relationships with external customers
- Manage external competitive pressures and discounts
- Discuss and negotiate contracts, conditions and discounts with customers in line with defined pricing and discounting rules; dynamically with the value selling required to win deals
- High volume of customer contacts through phone and email each day (telesales), but visit key customers in case of significant quotation values / key accounts
- Provide accurate sales forecasting (weekly and daily)
- Utilise available CRM tools to research accounts and detect new business opportunities
- Define and report KPIs to measure initiatives’ success (renewal rates, etc.)
- Partnerships with other company stakeholders to implement continuous improvement in sales process
- Support European strategic initiatives for Service Sales development
- Work with Service Managers in countries of responsibility for contract negotiation
- Work with Team Leaders to identify and support the implementation of new outbound Service initiatives

Qualifications

Skills and Experience required to be successful in this role:
- Ability to recognise pro-active revenue streams within operations, construct a plan and ensure implementation
- High-level Telemarketing Sales, ability to sell and promote service contract products
- Strong communications skills with sound business acumen
- SAP and Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Forecasting methodology awareness
- Understanding the importance of standardised processes & Tenders process awareness
- Financial skills, understanding of basic finance and service profit / loss
- Technical Product Knowledge
- Fluency in English is required
- Tenacity/Do What It Takes & Ability to plan own work and work unsupervised
- Effective Time Management, Personal Organisation and team player
- Demonstrate proactive approach to given task & quick problem-solving ability
- Goal and Achievement Oriented
