Description

Perform administrative functions within company, ISO and budgetary guidelines with the objective of providing high quality support to Leica’s customers. Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions. Ensure service information accessible by sorting and filing documents/forms. Handles requests for additional company materials.

Major Responsibilities 
  • Provide administrative support for the Field Service Engineers and Managers
  • Provide phone support for field service organization
  • Monitor group email boxes (ex: FSE calendar, Parts, SOS, Customer PO’s, Faxes)
  • Create service orders (ex:  contract, T&M, and PM calls) in SAP and pull into Mobile Service(lotus notes application)
  • Place parts orders (local warehouse, BU’s) for service spares required by the FSE
  • Call on customers to acquire PO’s for T&M service calls
  • Interact with the Field Support Specialist team when coordinating on-site visits (ex: PMDR, upgrades, etc.)
  • Interact with Logistics and 3rd party trucking companies to coordinate instrument installs, decommissions, and/or demos

Required Education, Experience, Skills
Education:  Minimum high school diploma
Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience

Desired Education, Experience, Skills
Education:  Associates degree
Experience/Skills:
  • 3 years of industry experience
