•         Conduct VOC, financial modeling, market segmentation, competitive intelligence, strategy formulation and valuation analysis for in-house developed products, acquisitions, existing businesses and new market opportunities.

•         Support the annual strategic planning processes through the development of market insights and recommendations as well as providing overall global process support.

•         Develop and implement structured, practical, fact-based approach to strategy development, financial modeling, and business planning.  Leverage frameworks such as Segmentation (mekkos), Price-Performance, SWOT, Impact Matrix, etc.

•         Execute VOC (qualitative and quantitative market research), analyze data and synthesize recommendations.  Includes directing vendors to facilitate VOC.

•         Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including marketing, sales, R&D, operations, regulatory, quality and business development.

•         The capacity to plan, organize, & complete projects on time. Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

•         Action oriented individual who is highly proactive at solving problems and obtaining results.

•         Team player who can work well across a global organization.

•         Willingness to learn the complexities of working in a medical device industry segment where compliance to regulation is a must.


Required Skills/Experience:

•         [10] years of experience with technology products, medical device experience preferred

•         Bilingual Chinese and English, excellent English skills

•         Qualitative and quantitative market research, financial modeling, Microsoft Excel and PPT expertise

•         Executive messaging and presentation

•         Project management and cross-functional collaboration

•         Ability to quickly come up to speed on new markets

•         Ability to interact with customers and stake holders to gain critical market intelligence


Desired Skills/Experience: 

•         Regulatory process and clinical data requirements to support market access in select geographies

•         Understanding of China healthcare and medical device industry, trends and competitive drivers



•         Undergraduate degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Travel Requirements

•         30% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations
