Key player in the Global Scientific Affairs and Scientific Marketing team:

Develop tools to advance Scientific skill of Microbiology Team (i.e. meetings, conference call, database)

Develop and implement regional Marketing Scientific events promoting new and existing Microbiology products line.

Support countries for developing local customer events

Coordinate GLOBAL clinical and marketing studies.

Work closely with GLOBAL Microbiology marketing manager to develop tools for the sales organization.

Interface with regulatory and governmental agencies, international groups on standardization (CLSI, EUCAST)

Manage/ assist with Key Opinion Leaders network to include participation in expert meetings and customer visits

Coordinate and encourage publications and posters, maintain literature review summary

Involvement in Market development activities

Contribute to pre-launch activities together with marketing and customer support

Ensure region and country new product knowledge previous to launch

Contribute to Sales & Marketing training for new products.

Participate to regional marketing activities (symposium, tradeshow, VIP etc…)

Involvement in Sales process:

Visit customer/give presentations during local customer event upon request

Provide support for tender process upon request.

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years’ experience OR Master’s, Doctoral degree with 12+ years’ experience in clinical microbiology diagnostics.  Demonstrated prior experience in the field of antibiotic resistance detection and/or phenotypic susceptibility testing. 

Preferred experience: 

Prior experience working in a clinical microbiology laboratory preferred.  Prior experience in a scientific affairs/scientific marketing role with activities that include publication, leading customer symposium, global experience, working with key opinion leaders and key note speaker, and participation in microbiology organizations all preferred.
