Description

You will develop software solutions by working in the following areas—study information needs; confer with users; study systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigate problem areas; and follow the software development lifecycle. You will prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming. Accomplish the engineering and organization mission by completing exciting work as needed. Develop software based on our users’ needs. Collaborate with your team to brainstorm and create new products. Make informed decisions quickly and take ownership of applications. Work collaboratively with others to achieve goals. Be a persistent, creative problem ¬solver. Update your knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; and participate in professional organizations.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in Computer science or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Mastery of C#, C++/C , WPF
  • Fluent with functional, imperative and object-oriented languages
  • Either strong OOP or Functional Programming and modeling skills
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines
  • Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior knowledge of working with chromatography data systems (CDS)
  • Prior knowledge of 32Karat CDS
