This position is responsible for investigating, developing and optimizing cell-based biosensor consumables, assays and applications on the ForteBio technology platform or extended. This position will involve working closely with other departments, such as marketing, hardware/software, operations and quality control to ensure timely delivery of new products.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Investigate, lead, execute and communicate findings of product development research projects to create new cell-based biosensor and consumable products on Pall ForteBio’s technology platform or extended.

• Documentation of technical protocols, QC specifications and test protocols of biosensors and assays in order to transfer product to manufacturing, including working manufacturing to assist with the transfer.

• Use DBS tools to assist with project planning, problem solving and continuous improvement.

• Establish and maintain strong technical knowledge of Pall ForteBio products and their applications as well as relevant competing products and companies. Provide in-depth knowledge on released products for field team.

• Assist ISG, customer support and application scientists with technical issues.

Job Requirements


-Master’s degree in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biology - or a similar field. PhD is preferred.

-5+ years or more experience in developing, qualifying and validating products, analytical test methods, designing experiments and other related methodology.

-Experience with Bio-layer Interferometry (BLI), Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) or similar label-free technologies preferred.

-Expertise in cell-based assays and protein science required.

-Self-driven and achievement motivated.

-Fluent in English Language Oral and Written Skills

-Excellent attention to detail and record keeping, as well as strong communication, technical writing and presentation skills.

-Problem Solving Skills

-Ability to Work in Team Environment
