Description

Molecular Devices, LLC is recruiting for a Senior Product Manager role.  The position is located in Fremont, CA.
  • Identify unmet customer needs and new product/market opportunities in label-free market by utilizing structured VOC processes.
  • Collaborate globally with commercial teams to collect customer inputs, competitive intelligence and market trends to build a comprehensive roadmap for the Octet instrumentation portfolio.
  • Lead and ensure the product requirements and vision is specified, developed, positional and promoted correctly.
  • Communicate requirements to product development teams to ensure a mutual understanding of customer expectations.
  • Manage challenges that arise in product development: timelines, technical risks, vendors, and market requirements – with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Execute product launch plans with the creation of compelling product content for sales and support collateral to ensure product acceptance and revenue goal achievement.
  • Continually monitor product performance and quickly react to any changes in the market

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • BS degree in life science required, advanced degree in biological sciences a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 4 years in product management required
  • Knowledge of biologics drug development applications and markets. 
  • Successful in collecting and translating VOC information to marketing and development teams required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fostering external collaboration activities with customers and companies required.
  • Proven ability to accomplish tasks in a team environment (ex.: engineering, marketing, technical support).
  • Proven ability to communicate complex concepts orally and in writing.
  • Travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally is expected to meet with global development teams and customers.
  • Detail Oriented – ability to develop detailed plans and then execute on those plans.
  • Priority Minded – ability to work in a fast-paced ever changing environment and prioritize appropriately 
  • Sense of the Urgency – ability to know when to act quickly to proactively solve problems.
