Staff IT Security Analyst
Miami, FL
This position will analyze, investigate and implement enterprise network and IT events against global information security (GIS) and industry guidelines.  The ideal candidate will help define and implement network solutions that meet industry, system and application security requirements.  The role includes gathering and organizing technical information about internal and external customer requirements, existing system controls, and company policies.  This is a Staff IT Analyst position which offers opportunities to acquire and exercise information security knowledge and skills.  

The ideal candidate will be a strong influencer who will leverage their architectural and engineering experience to ensure compliance with corporate security standards and best practices. This position will be responsible for the ongoing analysis of existing network, cloud, system, and application security controls. Candidate must possess exceptional communication skills and be able to interact with both business and technology stakeholders at various levels while applying subject matter expertise for security technologies and solutions. 

Responsibilities:
•Act as the subject matter expert for network security related environments to deliver security functions and enhancements
•Collaborate with enterprise network services team to design, implement, and monitor secure network infrastructure and controls.
•Monitor current enterprise health and security tools to identify and coordinate response to emerging incidents.
•Support the technical analysis and recommendations for remediation of OS, Network and other enterprise events.
•Design, implement and manage enterprise scale information security infrastructure and controls.
•Support regulatory and productivity reporting using detailed data gathering and analysis
•Support in the identification, documentation, and development of computer and network security controls
•Daily operations of enterprise controls, vulnerability scanning tools and supporting infrastructure
•Operate as SME for network and security controls.
•Complete assignments independently, driving innovation and growth
•Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operational performance, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service
•Perform other administrative and support functions as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Required Skills

•B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or related degree is preferred, or an additional two (2) years of relevant experience;
•A minimum of 9 years of progressive hands-on technical experience in the following technologies;
oNetwork Security: Firewalls (traditional and next-gen), Web Proxies, IP Network Management, WAN topologies and protocols (MPLS, VPN, NAC, etc). Multiple Vendor technologies (Cisco, PAN, Juniper, McAfee, etc.) are preferred.
•Competent to work in most areas of network, systems or application information assurance;
•Experience with the following is a plus: Content Filters, SIEM, Vulnerability Scanners, Whitelisting, Windows Server, Linux, scripting languages, and cloud computing.
•Well versed in the technical analysis of vulnerability data and recommendations for remediation
•Beneficial certifications: MCSE, CISSP, CEH, CISA, GPEN, GCIA, GSEC, GSIF, GWAPT, Security 
•Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required
•Integrity is critical in this position.  Strong attention to detail and customer service are required.
