Description

The Global Product Manager – ACD will be responsible for the development, launch and on market life cycle management of advanced staining products associated with our partnership agreement with ACD (Advanced Cell Diagnostics).  The Global Product Manager – ACD drives revenue performance of our ACD-related products and manages product performance, product launches and product portfolio strategies to differentiate LBS in the marketplace. The Global Product Manager – ACD will work proactively to identify new opportunities for growth through leveraging ACD technology on the BOND platform.




Major Responsibilities




  • Responsibility/accountability for their product revenue number globally

  • Manage products throughout their lifecycle ensuring continuing commercial success of new products and pruning of old products

  • Drive marketing activities and development of sales tools to maximize product revenues

  • Execute launch of new products according to Product Launch Excellence (PLE) process

  • Develop product portfolio strategies including pricing, competition, market conditions, etc.

  • Be up to date with relevant markets on prices, competition, opportunities, etc.

  • Act as the Voice of Customer/Sales for product enhancements and new product development

  • Working with marketing communication on messaging of value proposition and positioning of products/solutions to ensure marketing collateral maximises sales outcomes.

  • Supporting the selling units with product training and competitive selling training

  • Ad hoc work with Innovations on potential new product opportunities

  • Work with R&D on new product development according to the PLE process





Additional Responsibilities specific to ACD




  • Manage all aspects of our partnership with ACD, and act as the single point of contact between LBS and ACD.

  • Define ACD-related Product User Needs and Product Requirements for potential global launch efforts.

  • Manage and prioritize product development projects associated with ACD technology across LBS Newcastle, LBS Melbourne and LBS Danvers (CDx).

  • Owns and develops any Commercialization Agreements between LBS and ACD as a part of the global GTM strategy.  

  • Manages the User Needs documents and ensure the products scope remains intact throughout the Development process

  • Manage the forecasting of all LBS reagent needs from ACD

  • Acting member of the LBS-ACD Steering committee



Job Requirements



Qualifications




  • Minimum 5 years Medical Diagnostics Sales and / or Marketing experience

  • Prior experience with Molecular Diagnostics preferred

  • Sales Management experience preferred

  • Innate commercial acumen of the Anatomic Pathology Diagnostics space preferred

  • Experience in Biomedical industry, Medical Device or Cancer Diagnostics industry preferred

  • MBA level business skills preferred


 Education




  • Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in business or related discipline.

  • Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in science (Medical Science or Biology).
