Senior Director Operations

Do you want to drive HemoCue Operations a high volume and high accuracy production to next level and contribute to our growth? We are looking for an experienced Operations leader ready to continue our improvement journey for manufacturing with DBS (lean) tools and innovation.

We are a successful, innovative company, where continuous improvement and talent management are in focus. In this position, you will lead the Operations department, based at our global headquarters in Ängelholm, Sweden, and be part of the company’s leadership team reporting to the President.

You will be responsible for Manufacturing including Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Environment, the Real Estate and the continuous improvement office (DBS office). You will also be responsible for Manufacturing strategies and implementation of new products in production i.e scale up of prototype series to high volume production, capacity planning and automatization. You will lead and empower your team and ensure a sound cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications and experience
You hold a BSc or MSc. in a suitable field of engineering or science. You have at least 10 years’ experience from a leading position within Manufacturing or/and supply chain and at least 5 years’ experience from a regulated industry preferable with Q & ISO 13485 experience.
We are looking for someone with experience with quality assurance, design control and FDA requirements. You have board technical skills from Production technologies as filling, drying, vision systems, injection molding, labeling and packaging. You have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment with multiple priorities and drive result. You are fluent in oral and written English. Certification in Lean is an advantage
