Description

  • Interface with corporate and subsidiary management (senior commercial operations,
  • strategic and tactical marketing, program development, field service, finance and
  • technical support) to develop and modify: worldwide forecasts, product promotions, reporting
  • Assumes department responsibility in the absence of a manager
  • Recognizes and exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in
  • selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
  • Formulates changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
  • Formulates/monitors project plans.
  • Authorizes finished goods stocking levels worldwide
  • May assign work to others.
  • Drive the manufacturing planning and purchasing organizations independent demand
  • requirements
  • Identify, recommend and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory worldwide
  • Adheres to department policies/procedures
  • Works within system parameters.
  • Participate in program management teams to help facilitate launching new products
  • while monitoring the phase out cycle of obsolete product.
  • Responsible for ensuring the manufacturing and purchasing schedules supports the
  • plan.
  • Determine and manage fair share allocations worldwide during periods of constrained
  • conditions.
  • Maximize inventory turns by product lines.
  • Determines implementation dates for change orders and new product releases

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business administration or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Oracle experience preferred 
  • Kanban experience in a lean mfg environment
  • Capacity requirements planning experience
  • Strong Analytical skills, initiative, judgment, and problem solving ability
  • Excellent verbal communications/interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, complete multiple tasks, and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must have hands on approach 
  • Strong commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes of a rapidly growing company
  • CPM, CPIM, or APICS Certification highly preferred
  • Prefer FDA (medical device) and ISO Experience
