Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant provides cost analytical and accounting support to site management by preparing  journal entries, reconciling ledger accounts, investigating actual to standard or estimate to budget differences, maintaining standard costs, and assisting engineering and procurement professionals with MUV and PPV analysis.   

The candidate will participate in budgeting, forecasting, annual standard cost build, management reporting and financial analyses for the Hialeah, Florida and Florence, Kentucky manufacturing operations and departments.  This position will be based in Hialeah, Florida.

  • Recurring weekly activities include the reporting and analysis of volume, expenses, absorption, scrap, inventory, and purchases.   
  • Participate in the full month-end close and reporting process, as well as monthly forecast updates.  
  • Gather and prepare data for annual operating plan, including expense budgets, annual cost build, variance targets and capital investment budgets.  
  • Additional duties include monitoring Cycle Count, quarterly E&O analysis, and special assignments designed to gather data and ultimately improve operational efficiencies. 
  • The candidate will be expected to learn and participate in the company’s continuous improvement culture by supporting daily management activities and participating in team based process improvement projects. 

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance 
  • 3-5 years relevant manufacturing cost accounting experience
  • Strong financial/operational systems and Excel spreadsheet skills. 
  • CPA 
  • MBA 
  • Oracle manufacturing system experience
