Description


  • Aseptic
    Technique, Culturing Mammalian cells

  • Hollow
    Fiber and disposable bioreactors

  • Preparing
    and testing production and pilot reagents according to written procedures
    and protocols

  • Performing
    simple calculations according to procedures, and maintaining accurate
    records of work performed according to GLP, GMP, and QSR´s

  • Explaining
    work processes to peers and may assist in training new employees

  • Participating
    on a CPI Team, and contributing to team efforts within the department

  • Understanding
    the departments business needs and is responsive to priorities and
    deadlines.

Qualifications

Qualifications




  • Qualified
    candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry,
    Biochemistry or equivalent

  • Prior
    expereince working in a GMP regulated environment

  • Prior
    experience with culturing and maintaining mammalian cells using aseptic
    technique in different platforms; performing analytical techniques like
    HPLC, RRID, SDS Page, IEF; and knowledge of growing cells in several
    platforms like T-flasks, Roller Bottles, Spinner Flasks, and Cell
    factories.

  • Knowledge
    of hollow fiber perfusion system scale up a plus.  

  • Must
    possess problem-solving skills

  • Ability
    to prioritize work tasks

  • Ability
    to work within a team environment

  • Experience
    with MS Office products
