Description

The SLS Continuous Bioprocessing Team is supporting customers while evaluating and implementing continuous downstream processing technologies provided by Pall. The SLS Continuous Bioprocessing team is “the go-to” team for our customers who use any of the company’s continuous bioprocessing solutions.


The portfolio of solutions that is currently supported includes the Cadence™ Acoustic Separator, the Cadence BioSMB technology and all single-pass TFF solutions (Cadence SPTFF, Cadence ILC and Cadence ILDF). General  Duties

  • Coordinating and conducting on-site trials, during which customers evaluate or test continuous bioprocessing technologies provided by Pall.
  • Support customers in process improvement and/or troubleshooting related to continuous bioprocessing technologies provided by Pall 
  • Support continuous improvement of the team technical capabilities and other skills through training, sharing best practices and developing/enhancing standard work.

Technical Leader Duties

  • Support the R&D team of Pall in Westborough, MA, in their New Product Development activities by providing input on how customers use these technologies, by coordinating and conducting alpha and beta trials before launch and by developing standard work and training materials for the team.
  • Provide internal and external training on continuous bioprocessing technologies.

Supporting Activities

  • Support commercial activities by performing demonstrations (show-and-tell) at our Center of Excellence in Westborough, MA, and through other customer interactions.
  • Support marketing activities by giving lunch-and-learn seminars and presentations at customer sites.

Job Requirements



Qualifications



  • Academic degree (BSc, MSc) in biochemical engineering, chemical engineering or related.

  • Minimum of 10 years (BSc) or 5 years (MSc) experience in biopharmaceutical industry in functions related to process development, manufacturing sciences or associated fields.

  • Strong analytical mindset: can translate observations into a problem and/or research question and provide directions for adequate solutions.

  • Excellent verbal, presenting & reporting communication skills (English). 

  • Team player Willingness to travel 50 – 70% (domestic).
